Key Responsibilities

Technical Support and Troubleshooting
Provide timely and effective technical support to employees by diagnosing and resolving software, hardware, and network issues. Respond to helpdesk tickets, emails, and phone inquiries to troubleshoot problems with computers, applications, printers, and other office equipment. Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT personnel as needed and ensure all incidents are resolved promptly to minimize downtime.

System Installation and Configuration
Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems, operating systems, software, and other office equipment according to company standards. Set up user accounts, email configurations, and system access permissions for new employees, ensuring they have the required tools to perform their jobs effectively. Regularly update and maintain systems to prevent security vulnerabilities and optimize performance.

Network and Security Management
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues, working closely with the network team to maintain reliable network access. Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures such as firewalls, antivirus software, and data encryption to protect sensitive company information. Educate users on best practices for data security, password management, and identifying potential threats.

Documentation and Knowledge Base Development
Create and update documentation for common troubleshooting steps, software usage guides, and IT procedures to provide employees with self-help resources. Maintain accurate records of support tickets, resolutions, and configurations to track IT assets and identify recurring issues. Contribute to a knowledge base to improve response times and reduce the occurrence of common technical issues.

User Training and Support
Assist employees with understanding new software, systems, and tools, providing training sessions and user guides to improve proficiency. Offer personalized support for technical skills, helping employees work more effectively and reducing the need for frequent IT assistance. Encourage users to report issues early and practice proactive measures to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support, with knowledge of Windows and Mac OS environments.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals, cybersecurity, and common office software.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in ticketing systems and remote troubleshooting tools.
