Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning and Scheduling

The Site Project Control Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules. This includes defining project scope, creating work breakdown structures, establishing timelines, and identifying key milestones. The manager will collaborate with project teams to ensure that schedules are realistic, achievable, and align with project goals. Regular updates to the project schedule will be conducted to reflect changes, delays, and progress, ensuring timely completion of project activities.

2. Cost Management and Budget Control

This role involves monitoring project costs and managing budgets effectively. The Site Project Control Manager will track expenditures, analyze cost variances, and ensure that financial resources are utilized efficiently. They will also prepare detailed cost reports, identify potential cost overruns, and recommend corrective actions to keep the project within the approved budget. Additionally, the manager will work closely with the procurement and finance teams to optimize cost management strategies and improve overall financial performance.

3. Risk Management and Mitigation

The Site Project Control Manager plays a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential risks that may impact the project’s success. This involves conducting risk assessments, analyzing potential issues, and developing risk mitigation plans. The manager will continuously monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle, implement necessary contingency measures, and adjust plans as needed to minimize disruptions and delays.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project control management, preferably in construction, engineering, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in cost control, scheduling, and risk management.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
