Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

The Store Keeper monitors stock levels to ensure that materials and goods are available as required. This includes conducting regular stock checks, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that items are correctly labeled and stored.

Receiving and Issuing Materials

The Store Keeper oversees the receipt of incoming goods and verifies their quantity and quality against purchase orders. They are also responsible for issuing materials to departments as needed, ensuring proper documentation of each transaction.

Stock Control

Maintaining an organized and efficient storage system is crucial. The Store Keeper ensures that items are stored in designated locations and follows inventory rotation practices such as First-In-First-Out (FIFO) or Last-In-First-Out (LIFO) to minimize waste.

Record-Keeping

Accurate and up-to-date records of stock movements, purchases, and usage are maintained by the Store Keeper. This documentation supports inventory audits and helps in generating reports for management.

Ensuring Safety and Security
