What You’ll Do: Responsibilities
As our Assistant Planning Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our construction projects run smoothly. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Review and approve (or suggest changes to) construction schedules submitted by contractors.
- Make sure construction schedules align with the overall project timeline.
- Track progress on infrastructure projects (think roads, bridges, etc.) and review plans.
- Act as a liaison between the main contractor and other involved parties.
- Closely monitor construction progress against approved schedules, focusing on major milestones.
- Analyze contractors’ monthly and weekly reports to identify any potential issues.
- Evaluate construction progress on-site and identify any delays.
- If delays occur, you’ll be responsible for issuing official notices.
- Review the procurement schedules created by the contractors.
