Responsibilities
1. Transportation of Household Members
- Safely drive household members to appointments, events, and other destinations as required.
- Ensure timely arrival and departure from locations, managing time effectively to meet the schedule.
- Assist passengers with getting in and out of the vehicle and ensure their comfort and safety during transit.
2. Vehicle Maintenance and Care
- Regularly inspect the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, including checking oil, tires, brakes, and other critical components.
- Keep the vehicle clean, inside and out, by washing and vacuuming regularly.
- Ensure the vehicle is fueled and ready for use at all times, and schedule service appointments as needed.
- Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly and ensure repairs are carried out as needed.
3. Running Errands
- Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, or delivering packages.
- Ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and on time, maintaining organization in handling errands.
4. Safety and Compliance
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and road safety standards while driving.
- Maintain a clean driving record and ensure the safety of the household members and others on the road.
- Comply with company policies and any specific requirements regarding vehicle use.
5. Confidentiality and Discretion
- Maintain confidentiality regarding household activities, conversations, and personal matters.
- Use discretion when dealing with personal or confidential information in the course of the job.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience as a driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and local routes.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and show discretion.
- Ability to handle basic vehicle maintenance tasks or coordinate with service centers.
