What You’ll Do: Responsibilities
As our Master Tailor, you’ll be the go-to person for all things dresses and abayas! Here’s what you’ll get to do:
- Design, cut, and sew custom-made dresses and abayas from scratch, following client specifications to a tee.
- Make alterations and fit garments perfectly, ensuring every detail is flawless.
- Work closely with designers and clients to understand their ideas and turn them into stunning creations.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest fashion trends, different fabric types, and the best ways to construct garments.
- Keep your workspace clean and organized for a smooth workflow.
What They Are Looking For: Qualifications
To shine in this role, you’ll need to be a master of your craft with the following skills:
- Proven experience as a Master Tailor, specializing in designing and creating women’s dresses and abayas.
- A pro at pattern-making, sewing, and all aspects of garment construction.
- Deep knowledge of different fabrics and their unique properties (think silk, cotton, etc.).
- A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to precision in your work.
