Responsibilities

1. Supervision and Team Management

• Lead, supervise, and train a team of HVAC technicians to ensure high-quality performance.
• Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to team members based on priority and workload.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to foster professional growth.

2. Maintenance and Repair Oversight

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heaters, ventilation systems, and ductwork.
• Ensure timely troubleshooting and resolution of system malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct periodic inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance plans.

3. Safety and Compliance

• Ensure all HVAC maintenance activities comply with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
• Implement and enforce workplace safety protocols to protect team members and clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and advancements in HVAC technology.

4. Inventory and Resource Management

• Monitor inventory levels of tools, equipment, and spare parts to ensure availability for maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to source and purchase high-quality materials at cost-effective rates.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing.

5. Client and Stakeholder Communication

• Collaborate with clients, property managers, and other stakeholders to understand maintenance needs and priorities.
• Provide updates on project timelines, system performance, and recommendations for upgrades or replacements.
• Address client concerns promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.

6. Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare detailed maintenance reports, including costs, labor hours, and system performance metrics.
• Maintain accurate documentation for equipment warranties, service agreements, and compliance certifications.
• Utilize maintenance management software to track schedules and performance data effectively.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in HVAC maintenance, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and components.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software and diagnostic tools.
• Certification in HVAC maintenance or a related field is preferred.
