A Plumbing Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site plumbing operations in construction or renovation projects. This role ensures that plumbing work is executed in line with project plans, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The Plumbing Site Supervisor is expected to coordinate with other contractors, manage plumbing staff, and maintain the project’s progress by solving any technical or operational challenges that arise. Strong leadership and expertise in plumbing systems are crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervision of Plumbing Work The primary duty of the Plumbing Site Supervisor is to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard. This includes monitoring the progress of tasks, ensuring quality control, and making sure that all systems are installed in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
2. Team Management The supervisor is responsible for managing a team of plumbers and subcontractors on-site. This involves assigning tasks, providing technical guidance, and ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols and work efficiently. It also includes coordinating work schedules and resolving any staffing issues that may arise.
3. Quality Assurance and Compliance Ensuring that all plumbing work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards is a key part of the supervisor’s role.
