Accountant Required in Dubai

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting the organization’s financial goals. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in financial software to handle a range of accounting tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

1. Financial Record Management

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization.
• Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts regularly.

2. Budgeting and Financial Analysis

• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost-saving measures.
• Provide detailed financial reports to management to support strategic decision-making.

3. Tax Compliance and Reporting

• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and update practices accordingly.
• Handle audits and inquiries from tax authorities professionally and accurately.

4. Accounts Payable and Receivable

• Manage accounts payable by verifying invoices and processing payments on time.
• Oversee accounts receivable by generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
• Reconcile discrepancies in accounts and resolve issues promptly.

5. Financial Auditing and Internal Controls

• Conduct internal audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Assist external auditors by providing documentation and information as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
