Assistant Nurse – Outpatient Department (OPD) Required in Dubai

The Assistant Nurse in the Outpatient Department (OPD) provides essential support to registered nurses and doctors in delivering patient care. This role involves assisting with patient assessments, preparing patients for examinations, and managing clinical documentation. The Assistant Nurse plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth patient flow within the OPD, supporting a safe and compassionate environment for patient treatment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Preparation and Support
   The Assistant Nurse is responsible for preparing patients for consultations and examinations, including taking vital signs, documenting medical histories, and addressing initial patient inquiries. By welcoming patients warmly and preparing them efficiently, the Assistant Nurse helps create a comfortable and reassuring atmosphere that eases patient concerns and enhances their experience.
2. Assisting with Medical Examinations and Procedures
   Working alongside registered nurses and doctors, the Assistant Nurse provides support during medical examinations and minor procedures. This includes handing over necessary instruments, ensuring cleanliness, and assisting patients as required. The Assistant Nurse also ensures that examination rooms are sanitized and well-organized between appointments to support a safe clinical environment.
3. Clinical Documentation and Record Maintenance
   Accurate documentation is a core responsibility in the OPD. The Assistant Nurse maintains up-to-date records of patient information, vital signs, and other relevant data. This includes entering information into electronic health systems and managing any necessary paperwork. Efficient record-keeping helps ensure continuity of care and supports the clinical team in making informed decisions.
4. Patient Education and Communication

Qualifications and Skills
