Key Responsibilities

  1. Leading Cost Analysis and Financial Planning
    The Cost Analyst Manager will lead efforts to analyze the costs associated with the company’s operations, projects, and products. This includes reviewing financial data, identifying cost drivers, and preparing detailed reports that highlight cost variances and areas for improvement. The manager will also participate in long-term financial planning and help develop cost forecasts to guide budgeting decisions and support the company’s financial strategy.
  2. Budgeting and Cost Control
    A major responsibility of the Cost Analyst Manager is to collaborate with department heads to establish and manage budgets, ensuring that all departments adhere to their allocated resources. The manager will implement cost-control measures, monitor actual expenditures against budgeted amounts, and provide recommendations for cost-saving initiatives. This role requires maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring accountability across all levels of the organization.
  3. Developing and Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    The Cost Analyst Manager will be responsible for defining and tracking KPIs related to costs and financial performance. This includes monitoring metrics such as cost per unit, overhead expenses, and gross margin, and analyzing their impact on profitability. Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Experience with financial forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control
  • Proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • CPA or CMA certification (preferred)
