Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and Development of Electrical Systems
    The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing efficient, reliable electrical systems. This includes drafting detailed plans, working with CAD software to create schematics, and developing control circuits. You will evaluate design specifications, calculate material and energy requirements, and ensure compatibility with existing systems. Working closely with the project team, you will address technical issues and oversee the system’s design to meet specified requirements.
  2. Project Management and Implementation
    In this role, you will actively participate in the implementation of electrical systems, overseeing their installation, commissioning, and testing phases. You will be responsible for ensuring all electrical installations comply with regulatory standards and follow best safety practices. Managing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines is also essential to the role, as is the ability to troubleshoot any arising issues during project execution.
  3. System Testing and Maintenance
    Routine testing and maintenance of electrical systems is a key part of this role. The Electrical Engineer will conduct tests on installed systems to assess functionality, safety, and durability, using diagnostic tools and simulation software. Ensuring system compliance with regulatory standards, identifying any faults, and developing a corrective action plan are part of daily duties. You will document test findings, compile reports, and make recommendations for system enhancements.
  4. Technical Documentation and Reporting
    A critical aspect of this position is the ability to maintain accurate technical documentation. This includes developing comprehensive maintenance logs, operation manuals, and procedural guidelines for all electrical systems. You will compile data for system performance reports and collaborate with the team to identify areas for system improvement. Providing clear, concise documentation for cross-departmental use and assisting in training initiatives may also be required.
  5. Compliance and Safety Standards
    Ensuring compliance with electrical safety codes, standards, and environmental regulations is essential to the role. The Electrical Engineer will conduct regular audits of electrical installations, perform risk assessments, and recommend measures for enhanced safety. Staying updated on regulatory changes, industry best practices, and relevant certifications is also essential to maintaining safety and quality across all projects.
