Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Business Development
As a Sales Executive, you will identify potential clients within the assigned territory and establish strong relationships to drive sales. You will set clear sales targets and work towards achieving them by expanding the company’s presence in the market. - Client Relationship Management
Maintaining and nurturing long-term client relationships is a crucial part of this role. You will regularly visit client sites to understand their project needs, providing technical information and product recommendations. This role requires frequent follow-ups, effective communication, and resolving any client issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. - Market Research and Analysis
The Sales Executive will perform market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities. This includes analyzing customer needs, preferences, and market demands to develop strategies for market penetration. By understanding current trends and client feedback, you will help shape the company’s product offerings and marketing efforts. - Product Demonstrations and Technical Support
In this role, you will organize and conduct product demonstrations, presenting the technical aspects, design benefits, and quality of our tile solutions to prospective clients. This may include preparing sample boards, providing technical specifications, and ensuring clients understand the features and installation processes of various products. You will also offer post-sale support to address any issues related to product installation and performance. - Sales Reporting and Documentation
A key part of the Sales Executive role is documenting sales activities, compiling reports, and managing client databases. You will prepare weekly and monthly sales reports to track progress against targets and share insights with the sales management team. Accurately recording client interactions, sales agreements, and follow-up actions are essential to ensure a seamless sales process and aid in future client communications.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of outdoor sales experience, preferably in the building materials or tiles industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of tile products and installation processes is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively
