Responsibilities
Selling Products and Services
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Present products and services to potential customers, highlighting their benefits and addressing customer concerns.
- Demonstrate product features and provide accurate information to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Close sales deals and achieve sales targets set by the company.
Building and Maintaining Customer Relationships
- Establish and maintain positive, long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Regularly follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, address issues, and promote additional products or services.
- Provide excellent customer service, including answering inquiries, resolving complaints, and offering post-sale support.
Market Research and Reporting
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product developments, and competitors’ offerings.
- Collect and report customer feedback, market conditions, and sales trends to management.
- Identify potential customers and market segments to target for sales growth.
Negotiation and Closing Sales
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with customers to close sales while maintaining profitability.
- Prepare and present sales contracts, ensuring that all terms are clear and understood by the customer.
- Overcome objections and resolve issues to ensure a smooth and successful sales process.
Sales Administration
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and transactions in the company’s CRM system.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to track progress toward sales goals.
- Manage inventory and ensure product availability to meet customer demands.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in sales or a similar role is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
