1. Prepare and Cook BBQ and Grilled Items
The primary responsibility of a Cook/BBQ Cook is to prepare and grill various meats, such as beef, chicken, pork, and seafood, as well as vegetables, using BBQ techniques. This involves marinating, seasoning, and cooking food items to the desired temperature and ensuring that each dish is flavorful and consistent. The cook must be skilled in controlling the grill temperature to avoid overcooking or undercooking.
2. Maintain Food Quality and Presentation
A key responsibility is to ensure that every dish meets high standards of quality and presentation. The Cook/BBQ Cook must ensure that the food is cooked thoroughly, is properly seasoned, and is visually appealing before being served. Consistency is critical in delivering dishes that meet customer expectations each time.
3. Manage Inventory and Food Preparation
The Cook/BBQ Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients and managing inventory to ensure that the kitchen is always stocked with the necessary items for grilling.
