Key Responsibilities

Safe Transportation

• Transport goods, passengers, or materials to assigned destinations while ensuring their safety and security.
• Follow the most efficient routes and adjust as needed based on traffic, weather, or road conditions.

Vehicle Maintenance

• Conduct routine checks on the vehicle, including tire pressure, oil levels, and brake functionality.
• Schedule regular servicing and promptly report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.

Compliance with Regulations

• Strictly adhere to traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies.
• Maintain necessary driving permits, licenses, and certifications in compliance with local regulations.

Loading and Unloading

• Assist in loading and unloading cargo or luggage, ensuring items are properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
• Verify that the load matches the delivery instructions and paperwork.

Timely Deliveries

• Plan and manage schedules to ensure timely delivery or pickup of passengers and goods.
• Inform supervisors or clients of any delays caused by unforeseen circumstances.

Customer Service

• Exhibit professionalism and courtesy while interacting with passengers, clients, or customers.
• Address inquiries and resolve minor issues during transportation.

Record Keeping

• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery or trip details.
• Submit reports and required documentation promptly to the relevant department.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a professional setting.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and navigation tools (GPS, maps).
• Ability to manage time effectively and follow instructions.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina to handle long hours of driving and loading/unloading responsibilities when required.
