Forklift Driver Required in Kuwait

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Driver to join our team. The Forklift Driver will be responsible for operating a forklift to move materials and products around the warehouse or other industrial environments. This role requires a strong focus on safety, precision, and efficiency. The ideal candidate should have experience operating forklifts and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

 Responsibilities

1. Forklift Operation

• Safely operate a forklift to transport materials, products, or goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse or yard.
• Ensure that all loads are properly secured and safely transported without causing damage to the products or surrounding environment.
• Follow established procedures for loading and unloading goods from trucks or containers.
• Operate forklifts with precision to place materials in the correct storage locations or retrieve items from shelves.

2. Inventory Management

• Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient inventory by moving items to designated storage areas and ensuring proper stock levels.
• Perform regular checks of inventory levels and report any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse manager.
• Help with the counting and sorting of products, ensuring that items are accurately labeled and organized.

3. Safety and Compliance

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures when operating the forklift, including wearing the proper protective equipment and performing pre-shift equipment inspections.
• Adhere to warehouse safety rules, including speed limits, weight limits, and safe handling practices.
• Ensure that the forklift is properly maintained and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
• Participate in regular safety training and refresher courses to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

4. Maintenance and Equipment Care

• Conduct basic maintenance on the forklift, such as checking fluid levels, cleaning, and performing minor repairs when necessary.
• Ensure the forklift is kept in good working condition and that any malfunctions or safety issues are promptly reported to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area by clearing debris and ensuring the forklift is stored safely after use.

5. Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other team members to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of goods.
• Communicate effectively with other team members to coordinate material handling and prevent delays.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions to management immediately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification is required (either through previous employer or industry certification).
• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with material handling.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
