What You’ll Do:
- Keep the IT systems running smoothly! Fix problems across servers and networks to ensure everything is reliable.
- Get things back online fast! Troubleshoot server hardware and network issues, and help resolve data center emergencies.
- Be a team player! Work 24/7 shift schedules (including on-call) and respond quickly to emergencies.
- Install new servers efficiently, meeting all agreed-upon deadlines.
- Maintain peak performance! Diagnose and fix problems with servers and network devices.
We Need You To Be:
- A tech whiz with over 1 year of experience working on projects at an outsourcing company.
- An expert in server operating systems, with at least 2 years of experience.
- Comfortable working in a data center environment for at least 1 year.
- A problem-solver who can troubleshoot server hardware and basic network issues.
- Someone with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of data center safety and security.
Bonus Points if You:
- Are a Linux pro!
- Have some network administration and support experience.
- Can troubleshoot cabling problems (copper and fiber).
- Know your way around data center facilities, especially power and cooling systems.
