Responsibilities:

1. Processing Payroll and Calculating Wages

The core responsibility of a Payroll Officer is to process payroll accurately for all employees. The Payroll Officer must ensure that the payroll data is entered correctly into the system and that all calculations are precise to prevent errors in employee payments. 2. Maintaining Payroll Records and Documentation

A Payroll Officer is responsible for keeping detailed and organized records of all payroll transactions. This involves maintaining up-to-date employee information, including salary details, tax forms, bank account information, and leave balances. The Payroll Officer ensures that all documentation is accurate, complete, and stored securely to comply with company policies and legal requirements.
