Responsibilities

1. Sales and Business Development

  • Promote and sell products or services to potential clients through various methods such as calls, meetings, presentations, and networking events.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth.
  • Understand customer needs and offer appropriate solutions or products to meet those needs, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure that clients are satisfied with their purchases or services.
  • Provide post-sales support by following up with customers to ensure they are happy with the product and service, and handle any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain a detailed customer database and keep records of sales interactions, ensuring that information is updated regularly.

3. Product Knowledge and Demonstration

  • Stay knowledgeable about the products or services offered, including their features, benefits, and pricing structures.
  • Effectively communicate product knowledge to customers, demonstrating how products meet their needs.
  • Conduct product presentations, demos, or trials to help potential clients understand the value of the product or service.

4. Market Research and Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor market trends and customer preferences to identify opportunities and adjust sales tactics accordingly.
  • Stay informed about competitor products, pricing, and marketing strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams based on customer insights and market trends.

5. Sales Reporting and Target Achievement

  • Keep track of sales performance and prepare regular reports on sales activities, progress towards targets, and customer feedback.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and yearly sales targets as set by the management.
  • Participate in sales meetings and collaborate with the team to share strategies, successes, and challenges.

6. Collaboration and Teamwork

  • Work closely with other sales team members, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Attend sales training sessions and team meetings to stay up-to-date with the latest sales techniques, product updates, and company initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and offer appropriate solutions.
