Responsibilities
1. Property Management
The Property Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that properties are in optimal condition. They also coordinate repair and maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. The supervisor works closely with maintenance teams, contractors, and vendors to guarantee smooth operations.
2. Tenant Relations
A key responsibility of the Property Supervisor is managing tenant relations. This includes responding to tenant inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining open communication to ensure tenant satisfaction. The supervisor is also responsible for lease management, ensuring that lease agreements are up to date and renewing or terminating them as required. They must ensure that tenants comply with property rules and regulations and maintain a positive community environment.
3. Budgeting and Financial Management
The Property Supervisor plays a key role in the financial oversight of properties. This includes preparing and managing budgets for property operations, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. The supervisor is responsible for approving invoices, managing rent collections, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
