Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet guests warmly and assist them in selecting menu items based on their preferences and dietary requirements.
• Answer questions about the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Ensure guests are satisfied with their dining experience by responding promptly to requests and resolving any concerns.

Order Management

• Accurately take and relay food and drink orders to the kitchen or bar.
• Monitor the progress of orders and ensure they are delivered to the table in a timely manner.
• Verify that all orders are complete and meet quality standards before serving them to guests.

Table Maintenance

• Set up tables with clean linens, utensils, and glassware before guests arrive.
• Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave to ensure the dining area remains clean and inviting.
• Refill drinks, bread, or other table items as needed throughout the meal.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Assist fellow team members during busy periods to maintain excellent service standards.
• Communicate effectively with management about customer feedback and service improvements.

Adherence to Standards

• Follow all health, hygiene, and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
• Handle payments accurately, process bills, and return change or receipts promptly.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience as a waiter or in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
