Key Responsibilities

Electrical Diagnosis and Repairs

• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical issues in vehicles, including wiring, batteries, alternators, and starters.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and determine the most effective repair solutions.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

System Installation and Maintenance

• Install and maintain electrical systems such as lighting, audio systems, navigation units, and alarm systems.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicle electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Upgrade electrical systems in older vehicles to meet modern safety and performance standards.

Battery and Charging System Management

• Test and replace vehicle batteries as needed, ensuring proper installation and connection.
• Inspect and repair charging systems, including alternators and regulators.

Collaboration and Documentation

• Work closely with mechanics and other team members to resolve complex vehicle issues.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks.
• Provide clear explanations of repair work to customers when necessary.

Adherence to Safety and Quality Standards

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing electrical repairs.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and electrical systems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as an Auto Electrician or in a similar role.
• Certification in automotive electrical systems or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
