Key Responsibilities

1. Maintenance Management

The Facility and Maintenance Engineer is tasked with developing and implementing a comprehensive maintenance plan for all equipment and systems within the facility. This includes scheduling regular preventive maintenance activities to reduce equipment downtime and ensure operational efficiency. The engineer monitors maintenance work, assesses the condition of machinery, and coordinates necessary repairs or replacements. They ensure that all maintenance work is carried out promptly and efficiently to avoid disruptions in the facility’s operations.

2. Facility Operations

The engineer oversees the daily operations of the facility, ensuring that all systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security, are functioning correctly. They regularly inspect the facility to identify areas needing repair or improvement and ensure that it meets all operational standards. By ensuring the smooth functioning of facility systems, the engineer contributes to a safe, comfortable, and productive environment for employees and visitors.

3. Health and Safety Compliance

Ensuring the facility complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations is a key responsibility of the Facility and Maintenance Engineer. They conduct safety audits, implement corrective measures, and ensure that all safety protocols are followed during maintenance and operational activities.
