Key Responsibilities
1. Monitoring and Maintenance of Systems
Supervise the performance of operational systems and equipment to ensure consistent functionality. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize disruptions and ensure compliance with operational standards.
2. Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution
Identify and diagnose operational issues promptly. Develop and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations. Collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex problems.
3. Process Optimization
Analyze existing operational workflows to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement. Recommend and implement process enhancements to optimize resource utilization, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
4. Project Management
Support or lead operational projects, including upgrades, installations, or process transitions. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with organizational objectives.
5. Reporting and Documentation
Maintain accurate records of operational activities, including maintenance schedules, incident reports, and performance metrics. Prepare detailed reports for management, highlighting trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
6. Compliance and Safety Standards
Ensure that all operations comply with relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies. Conduct regular safety audits and train staff on operational best practices.
7. Collaboration and Coordination
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to align operations with broader organizational goals. Serve as a point of contact for operational support and queries.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operational roles, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or technical environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in operational software and tools, such as SCADA or ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
