Key Responsibilities
Technical Sales and Customer Engagement
- Identify potential clients and develop strong relationships to promote the company’s valve products and solutions.
- Understand customer requirements and provide technical support to recommend appropriate valve solutions.
- Conduct site visits and product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of the valve systems.
Proposal Development and Negotiation
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and budget constraints.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure sales while maintaining profitability.
- Follow up on submitted proposals and provide timely responses to customer queries.
Market Research and Business Development
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in valve systems.
- Develop strategies to target specific industries such as oil & gas, water treatment, or manufacturing.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the company’s offerings.
Collaboration and Technical Expertise
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure products meet customer specifications and standards.
- Stay updated on the latest valve technologies and applications to provide accurate and innovative solutions.
- Provide training and presentations to customers on product usage, maintenance, and technical features.
Sales Performance and Reporting
- Meet or exceed sales targets by closing deals and expanding the client base.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights for management review.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the valves or industrial equipment sector.
- Strong understanding of valve systems, their applications, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel frequently for client meetings and site visits.
