Senior Mechanical Engineer Required in Oman

The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components for various projects within the organization. This role involves applying advanced engineering principles to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and performance of mechanical systems while also mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The Senior Mechanical Engineer plays a crucial role in driving innovation and ensuring that all mechanical solutions meet industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and Development
   The Senior Mechanical Engineer leads the design and development of mechanical systems and components, utilizing advanced computer-aided design (CAD) software and engineering tools. This includes creating detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and prototypes, ensuring that all designs adhere to relevant codes and standards. The engineer collaborates with other disciplines, such as electrical and civil engineering, to ensure integrated system functionality and project success.
2. Project Management
   In this role, the Senior Mechanical Engineer manages multiple projects simultaneously, from conception through completion. They develop project plans, set timelines, and allocate resources efficiently while overseeing the project budget. Regularly updating stakeholders on project progress, the engineer ensures that projects are delivered on time and within budget, all while meeting quality standards.
3. Technical Leadership and Mentoring
   As a senior member of the engineering team, this role involves providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and interns. The Senior Mechanical Engineer shares knowledge and best practices, guiding the development of engineering skills and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and engineering analysis tools
