Key Responsibilities

Patient Care and Assessment

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ conditions, recording medical histories and symptoms.
• Monitor and evaluate patients’ vital signs and overall health status.
• Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed by healthcare providers.

Develop and Implement Care Plans

• Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans.
• Adjust care plans based on patients’ progress and changing medical needs.
• Provide wound care, assist in medical procedures, and ensure proper follow-up care.

Patient and Family Education

• Educate patients and their families on managing medical conditions, post-treatment care, and medications.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their loved ones during challenging times.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices and preventive care practices.

Emergency and Critical Care

• Respond swiftly to medical emergencies, stabilizing patients and providing life-saving interventions when necessary.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment such as ventilators, IV pumps, and cardiac monitors.
• Assist in resuscitation and other critical procedures in high-pressure situations.

Documentation and Compliance

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
• Participate in audits and quality assurance initiatives to maintain high standards of care.

Collaboration and Professional Development

• Work closely with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare staff to provide coordinated care.
• Attend training sessions, workshops, and continuing education programs to enhance skills and stay updated on medical advancements.
• Mentor junior staff and assist in orienting new team members to the facility.

Qualifications and Skills

• A nursing degree (associate or bachelor’s) from an accredited institution.
• A valid nursing license in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Experience in clinical care, critical care, or a specialized area of nursing is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
