Key Responsibilities

1. Sourcing and Supplier Management

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to meet the organization’s requirements. Establish and maintain strong relationships with reliable vendors, ensuring consistent supply and quality. Regularly assess supplier performance and address any issues related to service, quality, or pricing.

2. Procurement Planning and Execution

Collaborate with various departments to understand procurement needs and plan purchases accordingly. Prepare purchase orders and procurement documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications. Track the delivery process to ensure materials and services are received on time.

3. Contract Negotiation and Management

Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best terms, including pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms. Ensure that contracts comply with organizational policies and legal regulations.

4. Cost Analysis and Budget Management

Analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for savings. Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost control while meeting quality and operational requirements.

5. Inventory and Stock Control

Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking. Work closely with inventory and logistics teams to ensure efficient storage and distribution of goods.

6. Quality Assurance and Compliance

Ensure that all procured goods and services meet required quality standards. Maintain compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards. Address and resolve any quality-related concerns in collaboration with suppliers.

7. Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, supplier contracts, and payment transactions. Prepare detailed reports on procurement performance, cost analysis, and supplier evaluations for management review.

8. Market Research and Trend Analysis
