Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement and Vendor Management
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers to identify reliable and cost-effective vendors.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to ensure favorable procurement agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and timely deliveries.
2. Purchasing Activities
- Process purchase orders accurately and ensure they align with organizational requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the replenishment of stock to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure timely procurement of goods and services, adhering to deadlines and project schedules.
3. Cost Control and Budgeting
- Analyze pricing trends and market conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with finance and management to set procurement budgets and ensure adherence.
- Track procurement expenditures and report variances to the management.
4. Quality Assurance
- Ensure that all purchased goods meet quality and safety standards.
- Conduct inspections and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve issues with defective or substandard items.
- Maintain detailed records of supplier performance for future evaluation.
5. Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure procurement processes comply with organizational policies and legal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information for audits and reporting.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance with changes in procurement laws.
6. Coordination and Communication
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and specifications.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement best practices.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
