- Installation of Electrical Systems
The Electrical Technician will be responsible for installing electrical systems, wiring, and components in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. This includes reading blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure proper installation and alignment of electrical infrastructure according to the project’s specifications. - Maintenance and Repair
Regular maintenance of electrical systems and equipment is a core responsibility. The technician will inspect electrical components, identify potential issues, and perform necessary repairs. This includes fixing faulty wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and other electrical parts to ensure continuous, safe operation. - Troubleshooting Electrical Problems
When electrical issues arise, the Electrical Technician will troubleshoot and diagnose the problem using tools and testing devices like voltmeters, ohmmeters, and circuit testers. They will implement solutions to restore functionality and prevent future problems, minimizing downtime and disruptions. - Compliance with Safety Standards
Ensuring that all work adheres to local electrical codes and safety standards is essential. The Electrical Technician must follow strict safety procedures to avoid electrical hazards, including proper grounding, insulation, and wiring techniques, as well as using personal protective equipment (PPE). - Equipment Upgrades and Modifications
