We are seeking a skilled and reliable Technician to join our team. The Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various equipment, machinery, or systems to ensure smooth and efficient operation. Key Responsibilities

Maintenance and Repairs

• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment or machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or electronic faults in machinery or systems.
• Replace or repair defective components, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and operational requirements.
• Test repaired equipment to verify it is functioning correctly.

Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving

• Identify and diagnose technical issues quickly and accurately, minimizing downtime.
• Use specialized tools, instruments, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with other departments or team members to address more complex technical problems.

Installation and Setup

• Install new equipment, machinery, or systems as required, ensuring they are set up correctly and meet operational specifications.
• Calibrate systems and test equipment after installation to ensure proper functionality.
• Provide training to staff or clients on the proper operation of newly installed equipment.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and installations.
• Prepare and submit reports on equipment status, technical issues, and work performed.
• Monitor inventory levels of tools, spare parts, and equipment, ensuring that supplies are available when needed.

Adherence to Safety and Quality Standards

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while performing maintenance or repairs.
• Ensure that all equipment and systems meet industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct safety checks to ensure equipment is safe for use and complies with safety laws.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Technician, or in a similar technical role, in relevant industries such as manufacturing, engineering, or IT.
• Strong technical knowledge of equipment, machinery, or systems in the designated field.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to implement them in daily tasks.

Work Environment

Technicians typically work in a variety of environments, such as workshops, industrial sites, offices, or on client locations. The role may involve physical labor, including standing for long periods, lifting heavy equipment, or working in confined spaces. Technicians are expected to follow safety protocols and may be required to work in shifts or be on-call for emergency repairs.
