Key Responsibilities:

1.Financial Reporting and Analysis

  •  Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide insights into the agency’s financial performance.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

2.Budget Management

  • Assist in the development and management of the agency’s budget.
  • Monitor expenditures and revenues to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
  • Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and financial efficiency.

3.Accounts Payable and Receivable

  • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and clients to ensure smooth financial operations.

4.Compliance and Auditing

  •  Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax laws and reporting requirements.
  •  Prepare for and coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the agency’s financial assets.

5.Financial Strategy and Planning

  •  Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies that support the agency’s growth and objectives.

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  •  Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
  •  Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
