Responsibilities:

  1. Cleaning and Sanitizing Spaces: The primary responsibility of a Cleaner is to clean and sanitize designated areas, which may include offices, bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common areas. This involves sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping surfaces to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Additionally, cleaners are responsible for disinfecting high-touch surfaces such as door handles, countertops, and restrooms to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
  2. Waste Management: Cleaners are responsible for the proper disposal of waste in all assigned areas. This includes emptying trash bins, replacing liners, and ensuring that waste is disposed of according to the facility’s recycling and waste management guidelines. They must ensure that all waste is removed in a timely manner to maintain cleanliness and prevent odors or unsanitary conditions.
  3. Restocking Supplies: In areas such as restrooms, kitchens, or break rooms, Cleaners are responsible for restocking necessary supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and other hygiene products. It is important for Cleaners to monitor supply levels and request replenishments when needed to ensure that all areas remain well-stocked for users.
  4. Cleaning Equipment and Machinery: Cleaners may be required to operate specialized cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, or vacuum machines.
