Key Responsibilities

1. Installation of Electrical Systems

• Install, repair, and maintain wiring, control systems, and electrical fixtures in homes, commercial buildings, or industrial settings.
• Ensure that electrical systems are properly installed according to the blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Set up and connect circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, lighting, and other electrical components to ensure a safe and functioning system.

2. Troubleshooting and Repairs

• Diagnose and repair electrical problems, such as faulty wiring, circuit breakers, or transformers.
• Use testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes to identify electrical issues.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning parts, wiring, or fixtures in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing disruptions to clients.

3. Safety Compliance and Inspections

• Ensure that all electrical systems and installations comply with local, national, and industry electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards, such as overloaded circuits, exposed wiring, or equipment malfunctions.
• Implement necessary safety precautions during installation or repair work, including the proper use of protective gear and adherence to safety protocols.

4. Collaborating with Contractors and Clients

• Work closely with contractors, architects, and other construction professionals to plan and implement electrical systems in new buildings or renovation projects.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide solutions, and explain the electrical work being performed.
• Provide recommendations on energy-saving electrical systems or upgrades that improve safety, efficiency, and functionality.

5. Maintenance and Upgrades

Qualifications and Skills
