Sales/Cashier Required in Qatar

The Sales/Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth and efficient operations at the point of sale. This role involves handling transactions, assisting customers with inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Customer Service:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
• Provide product information and recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.

2.Transaction Handling:

• Accurately process cash, credit, and debit card transactions using the point-of-sale system.
•  Ensure all transactions are completed efficiently and without errors.
•  Balance the cash register at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.

3.Store Maintenance:

• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist in restocking shelves and organizing merchandise as needed.
• Follow all store policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment.

4.Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve store goals.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving sales and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with training new employees as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

Working Conditions
