Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Assistance

Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service by understanding their needs and preferences. Offer product recommendations, explain features and benefits, and address customer queries or concerns professionally.

2. Sales and Product Promotion

Demonstrate and promote products or services to increase customer interest and drive sales. Use persuasive communication skills to upsell or cross-sell additional products that align with customer requirements.

3. Inventory and Stock Management

Monitor stock levels, ensure shelves are stocked and displays are attractive. Report low inventory levels to the management and assist in organizing new stock arrivals.

4. Achieving Sales Targets

Work towards achieving individual and team sales goals. Track daily sales performance, analyze results, and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.

5. Payment Processing

Handle customer transactions efficiently, including cash, credit, and digital payments. Ensure accuracy in billing and provide receipts. Maintain proper records of sales and transactions.

6. Product Knowledge

Stay updated on product features, specifications, and promotions. Use this knowledge to confidently answer customer inquiries and guide them in making informed purchasing decisions.

7. Building Customer Relationships

Develop rapport with customers to encourage repeat business and loyalty. Collect feedback to improve the shopping experience and address any issues promptly.

8. Maintaining Store Appearance

Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing. Set up and maintain promotional displays and signage according to company guidelines.

9. Adherence to Policies and Procedures

Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines for customer interactions, sales processes, and workplace conduct. Adhere to safety and security protocols.

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service roles is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
