- Ensuring Safety Compliance: Safety is a critical aspect of rigging operations. The Rigging Supervisor must ensure that all personnel follow safety regulations, wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to company policies. The supervisor is also responsible for conducting safety briefings, risk assessments, and ensuring that all rigging activities comply with local and national safety standards.
- Inspecting Rigging Equipment: The Rigging Supervisor must regularly inspect all rigging equipment, including slings, ropes, chains, and hoists, to ensure that they are in good working condition.
