Key Responsibilities
Installation of Electrical Systems
- Install wiring, outlets, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and other electrical components according to blueprints or specifications.
- Set up electrical control systems, panels, and distribution boards for seamless power supply.
- Ensure all installations meet industry standards and safety regulations.
Maintenance and Repairs
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify wear, damage, or malfunctions.
- Diagnose issues such as faulty wiring, circuit problems, or equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
- Replace or repair components, ensuring compatibility and adherence to technical requirements.
Troubleshooting and Testing
- Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to locate electrical faults.
- Test and evaluate the performance of electrical systems after installation or repair.
- Identify potential risks and recommend upgrades or preventive measures to enhance system reliability.
Safety and Compliance
- Adhere to all safety protocols to protect against electrical hazards, such as shocks or fires.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international electrical codes.
- Handle hazardous materials, such as wiring and insulation, safely and responsibly.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
