Key Responsibilities

- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets.

- Tax Compliance and Reporting
- Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Calculate and remit VAT, payroll taxes, and other statutory payments.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies.
- Internal Controls and Auditing
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Identify process improvements and recommend best practices for financial efficiency.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable Management
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and maintaining client records.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is preferred).
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
