Key Responsibilities
Financial Record-Keeping and Reporting
Maintain accurate financial records, including daily sales, inventory purchases, payroll, and other restaurant expenses. Prepare financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to present to management.
Budgeting and Forecasting
Develop and monitor budgets to control costs and optimize revenue. Conduct financial forecasting to assist in strategic planning and ensure financial stability.
Cost Management and Analysis
Track and analyze food, beverage, and labor costs to identify opportunities for savings. Collaborate with management to implement cost-control measures without compromising quality or service.
Accounts Payable and Receivable
Manage accounts payable by ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors. Oversee accounts receivable processes, including monitoring outstanding payments and resolving discrepancies promptly.
Tax Compliance and Audits
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Prepare and file tax returns and support the organization during financial audits.
Payroll Management
Oversee payroll processes, including calculating wages, taxes, and deductions. Ensure timely and accurate payments to staff.
Inventory and Cash Flow Management
Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies to minimize wastage. Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for daily operations and future investments.
Financial Analysis and Recommendations

Qualifications and Skills
