Responsibilities:
Here’s what you’ll be doing (details may vary):
- Track the company’s money coming in and going out (accounts payable/receivable).
- Help create budgets and track how spending compares to the plan.
- Prepare accurate financial reports for the company managers.
- Make sure the company follows all the financial laws and regulations.
- Work on accounting tasks specifically related to the contracting industry (3+ years of experience required)
Requirements:
- Has a bachelor’s degree in commerce (or similar).
- Has at least 3 years of experience as an accountant (not senior accountant, etc.).
- Has experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably Oracle.
- Is working towards a professional accounting qualification (CMA/ACCA/CIMA/CA is a plus, but not mandatory).
- Communicates well in English. Arabic is a bonus
