Key Responsibilities

Transportation of Goods

• Operate heavy load vehicles such as trucks, trailers, or specialized transportation equipment to deliver goods to specified destinations.
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo to prevent damage or accidents during transit.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes, considering traffic, road conditions, and delivery schedules.

Vehicle Maintenance and Inspections

• Conduct regular pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
• Report any mechanical issues, damages, or malfunctions to the maintenance team promptly.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure, oil levels, and lights, to minimize disruptions.

Compliance with Regulations

• Adhere to all local and international traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and delivery logs as required by the company and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure the possession of a valid heavy load driving license and other certifications necessary for the job.

Customer Service

• Communicate professionally with clients and logistics personnel during deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle any delivery issues or complaints promptly and escalate them to the appropriate departments when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid heavy load vehicle driving license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating heavy vehicles, preferably in a logistics or transportation role.
• Familiarity with GPS devices, road maps, and route planning.
• Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and maintenance.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
