Engineering – CAFM & Digitization Specialist Required in Saudi Arabia

The Engineering – CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) & Digitization Specialist plays a key role in transforming and optimizing facility management operations through advanced digital solutions. This role involves managing and enhancing CAFM systems to streamline data-driven decision-making, improve asset management, and support predictive maintenance. Working closely with facility management, IT, and engineering teams, the specialist will lead digital transformation initiatives to maximize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and operational transparency in managing assets and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. CAFM System Implementation and Management
   The CAFM & Digitization Specialist is responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining the CAFM software system, ensuring it aligns with facility management needs. This includes setting up asset data, configuring maintenance schedules, and enabling work order management within the system. You will oversee system updates, troubleshoot technical issues, and train end-users to maximize the software’s effectiveness in supporting operational goals.
2. Digitization of Facility Management Processes
   A central responsibility in this role is to drive the digital transformation of facility management processes. This includes digitizing records, assets, workflows, and maintenance history to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks. The specialist will develop and implement digitization strategies that enhance data accessibility and support real-time monitoring of facility assets. By adopting digital solutions, you will improve process efficiency, accountability, and data integrity across facility management functions.
3. Data Analytics and Reporting
   The specialist will utilize data analytics to extract insights from the CAFM system and other digital tools, supporting facility management with accurate and actionable reports. This includes analyzing maintenance trends, asset performance, and cost data to optimize resources, reduce downtime, and make data-driven decisions. Regular reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will provide valuable feedback for continuous improvement.
4. Asset and Maintenance Optimization
   In this role, you will manage asset data and maintenance schedules to enhance equipment reliability and longevity. Using the CAFM system, the specialist will develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans, reducing reactive maintenance and unexpected downtime. By optimizing asset management, you will contribute to cost savings and extend the useful life of facility assets.
5. Cross-Departmental Collaboration and Training
   The CAFM & Digitization Specialist will collaborate with IT, engineering, and facility management teams to ensure the CAFM system aligns with organizational needs and technical standards. You will coordinate with these teams to troubleshoot issues, implement system updates, and ensure data accuracy. Additionally, you will train staff on system usage, digital tools, and best practices in digitized facility management, ensuring a smooth transition to and effective use of digital solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Facility Management, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in facility management, CAFM systems, or digital transformation within engineering or facility management settings
• Proficiency with CAFM software (e.g., Archibus, FM
  , Planon) and digital data management tools
• Strong understanding of facility management principles and maintenance processes
• Experience with data analytics and reporting in a facilities context
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and train end-users on CAFM systems and digital tools
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
