QA/QC Engineer Required in Saudi Arabia

A QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) Engineer ensures that the highest quality standards are adhered to during the design, construction, and execution phases of a project. This role involves developing and implementing quality control systems, reviewing specifications, and ensuring compliance with codes and standards. QA/QC Engineers collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain consistency and precision in project deliverables. They play a critical role in identifying risks, resolving quality-related issues, and ensuring that projects meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance Management

• Develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures tailored to project requirements.
• Conduct audits to verify compliance with industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and project-specific specifications.
• Evaluate and approve quality-related documents, including test plans, inspection protocols, and certifications.

Quality Control Activities

• Supervise and monitor quality control activities throughout the project lifecycle, including material inspections and on-site tests.
• Ensure all materials, components, and equipment used in the project meet the required standards and specifications.
• Manage and oversee non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.

Collaboration and Communication

• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure quality benchmarks are met.
• Provide guidance and training to site teams on quality protocols and best practices.
• Maintain clear documentation and reporting of quality assurance and control activities.

Risk and Issue Resolution

• Identify potential quality risks and propose preventive measures to mitigate them.
• Investigate quality-related issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions promptly.

Compliance and Standards Adherence

• Stay updated on relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to the industry and project.
• Ensure that all processes and procedures align with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field).
• Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in the construction, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
