Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 3D-printed parts and other components for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Inspect parts for defects, imperfections, or rough surfaces and carry out necessary adjustments such as filling gaps, smoothing surfaces, and repairing minor flaws.
- Apply primers and base coats using spray guns, airbrushes, or other painting tools, following specific preparation guidelines based on the material and finishing requirements.
- Ensure that parts are properly masked and protected during the painting process to prevent overspray and maintain clean edges.
2. Application of Paints and Specialized Finishes
- Apply various types of paints, including acrylics, enamels, and automotive-grade coatings, to achieve the desired color, texture, and finish.
- Use specialized finishing techniques such as metallic coatings, pearlescent finishes, and custom color blends to enhance the visual appeal of the parts.
- Operate and maintain painting equipment, including spray booths, airbrushes, and paint guns, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.
- Follow detailed color matching procedures to meet specific client requirements and achieve consistent results across multiple parts.
3. Quality Control and Inspection
- Conduct thorough inspections of painted parts to ensure they meet quality standards, including uniformity, smoothness, and adherence to color specifications.
- Identify and rectify issues such as drips, runs, uneven coverage, or blemishes, using techniques like wet sanding, buffing, or touch-up painting.

4. Collaboration and Communication

Qualifications and Skills
