Responsibilities
1. Development and Implementation of Quality Standards
- Design and implement quality control policies and procedures to ensure consistent product or service quality.
- Establish and maintain quality benchmarks in line with industry standards and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant certifications, regulations, and company requirements.
2. Quality Control Operations Management
- Supervise QC processes across all production or operational stages to identify and address quality issues.
- Perform root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Oversee inspection, testing, and documentation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
3. Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of QC staff to ensure they are well-equipped to perform their roles.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct regular team evaluations.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
4. Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare detailed quality control reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Maintain comprehensive records of QC activities, audits, and compliance efforts.
- Present findings to management and provide actionable insights for process optimization.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with production, procurement, and R&D teams to address quality issues proactively.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure materials and services meet quality requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors or quality inspectors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a QC management role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control tools, techniques, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in quality management software and reporting tools.
