Responsibilities
1. Sales and Revenue Generation
- Identify and approach potential customers to promote and sell products.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets through effective sales techniques.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue opportunities.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Address customer inquiries, provide product information, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Regularly visit clients to replenish stock, introduce new products, and manage accounts.
3. Delivery and Merchandising
- Load and unload the van with products for delivery to clients.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries according to the schedule.
- Arrange products on display shelves or areas to enhance visibility and drive sales.
4. Territory Management
- Develop and execute a route plan to maximize coverage and minimize travel time.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities within the territory.
- Provide feedback to management on customer preferences and market conditions.
5. Record Keeping and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of sales, deliveries, and inventory levels.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management.
- Handle invoices, receipts, and payments securely and accurately.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a sales or delivery role, preferably in van sales.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales targets.
- Physical stamina to load and unload products as needed.
