What You’ll Do: Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure and reliable network infrastructure for our mining projects.
• Your knowledge of MPLS, cybersecurity, and network protocols will be essential for ensuring smooth network operations.
• Oversee network performance and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest network technologies and security best practices.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals and project teams to ensure network alignment with project goals.
• Document network configurations and procedures for clear communication and future reference.

What They’re Looking For: Qualifications

• You’re a seasoned network engineer with a strong understanding of network design, security, and administration.
• Network+ or CCNA certification is a must, with a preference for CCNP or higher certifications.
• Security+ or equivalent certification is essential, with CISSP and/or CISM preferred.
• You have a deep understanding of MPLS network design with a focus on security implementation.
• Familiarity with multimedia systems, protocols, and various network models (OSI & IP) is required.
• Experience with cybersecurity systems and functions like IPS, IDS, access control, and endpoint protection is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial network protocols and compliance with IEC/ISA 62443 standards is essential.
• Experience working with wireless (IEEE 802.xx protocols) and network visualization tools is a plus.
• Experience with high-speed localized networks, long-haul and short-haul networks, and data center network design is a bonus.
• Familiarity with IP telephony protocols, serial & TDM-based systems, network segmentation, and physical layer protocols is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
