Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations Management

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with client requirements.
• Implement best practices to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.

2. Team Supervision and Leadership

• Manage and schedule warehouse staff, ensuring adequate coverage to meet operational demands.
• Train and mentor team members on warehouse procedures, safety standards, and client-specific requirements.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to improve individual and team performance.

3. Client Coordination

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and updates related to their inventory or orders.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their logistics needs and ensure services are aligned with expectations.
• Provide regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational metrics.

4. Inventory Control and Accuracy

• Oversee inventory management processes, including cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
• Ensure proper documentation and labeling of goods to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records, minimizing errors and losses.

5. Compliance and Safety

• Enforce adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure a safe working environment.
• Implement corrective actions promptly in response to safety or compliance issues.

6. Continuous Improvement

• Analyze warehouse operations and identify areas for improvement in processes, workflows, and resource utilization.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in warehouse supervision, preferably within a 3PL or logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
